While attending college part-time, she was employed by various Certified Public Accounting firms from 1971 to 1984 as paraprofessional, staff accountant, and supervisor. As the result of a merger, she joined Philip Vogel & Company as a supervisor in January, 1985 and was later promoted to manager of the Business Support Services Group.

She has had experience in the areas of accounting and tax, serving a wide range of clients, primarily entrepreneurial businesses and individuals. She is familiar with the retail, manufacturing, wholesale, medical, legal, food & beverage and real estate industries.

Danna is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs. She serves on the tax, medical services and social committees for Philip Vogel & Co. PC. She also has served as Public Relations Board Member of the North Dallas Network of Career Women.
