Buddy has had more than 25 years of professional experience providing auditing, accounting, tax and management services to both private and public companies which have included many manufacturing, wholesale and distribution businesses. He has assisted several firms in restructuring their organization, minimizing tax obligations and providing for long-term growth and stability. Buddy serves as the chief executive officer and managing director of Philip Vogel & Co. PC. Previously he served as the firm's Director of Taxation.

He has been active in numerous professional and community organizations. Buddy has served on various taxation committees of the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs, CPA Associates International, Inc., and the Texas Society of CPAs. He has done volunteer work for the American Heart Association, the United Way of Dallas, the Salvation Army, the Jewish Community Center of Dallas and the Dallas Jewish Coalition for the Homeless. Currently, he is Treasurer and Trustee for Temple Emanu-El and has served on the Advisory Board of the Accounting Department at the University of North Texas.
